Meet the Craftsman...

Scott Phillips
Born and raised in the U.S., Scott's interest in
log homes was kindled in 1977 while helping his uncle
build a hand-hewn log cabin in Montana. In 1987 he
married and settled down in the village of Schroon Lake,
located in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York.
Shortly thereafter, his vision to build his own log home
was realized with the purchase of a private 8-acre wooded
lot. Each log was carefully selected and hand peeled. No
crane was ever used to assemble nearly 100 logs! The
interior boasts log banisters and handrails all
handcrafted by Scott. With his dream of building his own
log home coming to a close, a new idea came into focus:
"I enjoy this so much, why not start a log
accessories and home décor business?" And Adirondack
LogWorks was born. Now Scott creates useful
and beautiful log crafts for every occasion.

Meet the Master
Craftsman...

Jesus Christ
More important than Scott's products is his
relationship with Jesus Christ, the Master Craftsman. The
Bible says, "For we are God's workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus..." Just as
Scott's products are a reflection of his craftsmanship,
he wants his life to reflect God's love. God demonstrated
His love by sending His Son, Jesus, to this earth to
bridge the gap between God and man. Our sin separates us
from God. Unfortunately, the payment for sin is death.
But God, in His love and mercy, sent Jesus to die in our
place that we might live with Him in Heaven forever, once
our life on earth has ended. Scott accepted Jesus' death
as payment for his sin when he was 10 years old, and it
has changed the course of his life! God's free gift of
sins forgiven now and heaven later is available to all
who believe. That's the greatest gift of all!
